In the last few months, I have downloaded and reviewed so many applications that record streaming audio you would think by now I'd be bored to tears or at least jaded. But, Audiolib MP3 Recorder surpised me because its simple, yet effective interface, worked flawlessly and immediately.

I like applications that do the thinking for me. I don't want to have to read long help files or tinker too much with a new piece of software, especially when I'm in a hurry to complete a task.

Audiolib MP3 Recorder recorded my audio stream without distortion and without configuring. I like smart software like that. Granted, it doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles but, it does have a Peak Level meter to show you the audio signal. I have always maintained this feature is essential for high-quality recordings.

Audiolib MP3 Recorder can produce either a WAV or MP3 file in a full range of file parameters, depending on the quality you require. The interface is easy on the eyes, functional and not overdone. The price for the registered version is $19.95 and you can download a trial version at the Audiolib.com website.
